The latest expansion set to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Chaos Rising, has just been released, bringing with it the excitement of new cards to bring to the table or collect, or sometimes both. Part of the Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution line, Chaos Rising is adding even more gorgeous artwork with its Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare cards, as well as a whole host of new Pokémon ex cards for battling.
Unfortunately, much of the surprise was lost for Chaos Rising when almost all the set’s cards were leaked early. However, that doesn’t seem to have dulled the excitement that players and collectors had for the set’s release on May 22, 2026.
Currently, as of the time this article is being written, these cards have just been made available. Therefore, many of the market value prices still have high volatility rates as cards are being pulled and listed on internet auction and sales sites. Even still, the cards shown here are clearly seeing a lot of demand and are certainly ones to be excited about getting your hands on. Each section includes a link to the card on TCGPlayer, where you can check the current values as well.
Special Red Card (113/086)
Ultra Rare
Despite being the simplest in its artwork, this Ultra Rare card for the Special Rare Card is still one of the most sought-after pulls in the Pokémon TCG: Chaos Rising set. Card 113/086, the Special Red Card is an Item that has the possibility of forcing your opponent to shuffle their hand and put it on the bottom of their deck and draw 3 cards.
Currently, this full card art version of the Item card is listed on TCGPlayer at an average market value of $25.06, with most of the recent sales all sticking around that number. This is extra impressive given that the standard Uncommon version of the Special Red Card features almost identical artwork and is only around $0.75 in comparison.
Froakie (088/086)
Illustration Rare
One of my favorite little Water-type Pokémon, Froakie, is featured on the Illustration Rare card 088/086 while being surrounded by beautiful aquamarine and turquoise colors. Clearly water-themed, the card depicts Froakie with a rather worried look on its face, looking up at something that we can’t see from our vantage point.
At the time of writing, this vibrant card is showing an average market price on TCGPlayer of $26.26, a price that has dropped in the past several days from a high of $54.98. It will be interesting to see, as more packs are opened, whether this card’s value continues to drop or goes back up.
Mega Greninja ex (100/086)
Ultra Rare
Mega Greninja ex appears several times on this list, and is the featured card for the Chaos Rising Elite Trainer Box and much of the promotional artwork for the set. In this example, we have the Ultra Rare version listed as card 100/086, with eye-catching artwork of Mega Greninja ex in a golden outline, as well as a shadowy version.
This card is currently showing an average market price of $33.15 on TCGPlayer, although its most recent sale was only $25.99, suggesting that the card may be dropping in value at the moment, but could still pick up again.
Roxie’s Performance (121/086)
Special Illustration Rare
Full card artwork versions of Trainer cards often do well, and this one is no different. Here we have the Special Illustration Rare form of Roxie’s Performance, with an energy and movement to the card that makes you almost hear some heavy metal coming from it.
Roxie’s Performance, card 121/086, has been holding pretty steady so far, with sales values fluctuating very little. At the time of writing, TCGPlayer shows this musical card with a market price of $55.88.
Mega Floette ex (117/086)
Special Illustration Rare
One of the first cards to be announced as part of the Pokémon TCG: Chaos Rising set was this Mega Floette ex card 117/086. With colorful rays of light coming down off Mega Floette, she appears to be looking down upon us all from a tactical position high above. This beautiful card is a wonderful example of how a Special Illustration Rare can evoke an energy all its own through its art.
Currently, on TCGPlayer, this card featuring Mega Floette is listed at an average market price of $75.00, although only one sale has been reported and, therefore, the value could change significantly.
AZ’s Tranquility (120/086)
Special Illustration Rare
While the tall and lanky AZ may not be a personal favorite character of mine from the Pokémon games and series, there is no denying the pure artistry shown on this card. Truly, this Special Illustration Rare card 120/086 featuring AZ’s Tranquility is an example of some of the greatest artwork from this Pokémon TCG set.
Between its stunning illustration and the fact that AZ is a well-known trainer, this is a very good card to get ahold of, particularly if you can pull it from a pack. At the time of writing, TCGPlayer shows it with an average market price valued at $84.37.
Mega Dragalge ex (118/086)
Special Illustration Rare
Another example of eye-catching illustrations, the artwork for Mega Dragalge ex‘s Special Illustration Rare takes on an almost psychedelic approach, with Mega Dragalge ex nearly blending into the swirls of color and motion all around it. Looking at it here, it’s hard to believe this Pokémon evolved from the lackluster Skrelp.
Currently, Mega Dragalge ex‘s card 118/086 shows an average market price of $104.71 on TCGPlayer, following an all-time high sale price of $120.
Cinccino ex (119/086)
Special Illustration Rare
The cuddly and adorable Cinccino ex comes next, in an illustration that makes you want to crawl right inside and join them. Bouncing on a large pile of pillows and blankets, the cheerful scene puts a smile on your face, as long as you aren’t seeing your opponent play it. In play, the card has the potential to avoid taking any damage based on a coin flip, much like Cinccino’s bouncing flip in the illustration.
According to TCGPlayer at the time of writing this article, this happy version of Cinccino ex card 119/086 is showing an average market price of $109.16.
Mega Greninja ex (122/086)
Mega Hyper Rare
Not only does Mega Greninja ex grace both the top spots on this list, but these two cards seem to be in constant battle for who is truly worth the most money. Neither card has enough sales data at the time of writing to give an accurate average market price, but from the sales and listed auctions, the two are in constant flux over who takes the top.
This golden Mega Hyper Rare version, card 122/086, of Mega Greninja ex is currently sitting with a price of $485 on TCGPlayer, with its most recent sale having come in at $399.99 at the time of writing.
Mega Greninja ex (116/086)
Special Illustration Rare
As stated in the previous entry, both of these Mega Greninja ex cards seem to be in competition for the top spot of most valuable card from this set, and currently, this Special Illustration Rare, card 116/086, is taking the lead as a must-have for every collector. As of the time of writing, TCGPlayer didn’t have enough data for an average market value on the card, but shows its most recent sale at $505.99, with a current listing at $470.99.
Whichever of these cards comes out on top as the most valuable, either would be a prized addition to any collection of Pokémon Trading Card Game cards for Chaos Rising.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
